Agent credits

Updated

Every request to the Website Agent uses agent credits. The workspace shares one balance, and the plan decides how many credits it gets each month.

What your plan includes

PlanAgent credits each month
Starter30,000
Professional100,000
Expert200,000

The credits renew at the start of each billing cycle, and the credits that remain at the end of a cycle expire. The billing page shows the balance as the Agent credits meter under "Credits this cycle", with the date when the cycle ends.

See what a request cost

Under the Message box, a line shows what the workspace has left, for example "100,000 agent credits left". After each request, the conversation shows what it used, for example "Used 212 agent credits".

A request costs credits in proportion to the work the agent does. A request that reads a page and changes one value costs fewer credits than one that changes many pages, searches the web, or generates an image.

When the credits run out

  • Before a request, when the workspace has no credits left, a notice above the Message box says "The workspace has no agent credits left, so the agent can't start." The owner sees Buy agent credits in the notice. A member sees "Ask the workspace owner to buy agent credits." Send message stays inactive.
  • During a request, the agent stops and the conversation says "The workspace ran out of agent credits, so the agent stopped. It applied the changes shown above." Each change it applied has its Undo button.

Buy more credits

Only the workspace owner can buy credits.

  1. Select Buy agent credits in the notice or in the line under the Message box. The line shows the link when the balance falls to 10 percent of the monthly allowance or less. You can also open Billing in the sidebar.
  2. Choose a pack on the billing page. Each row shows the credits and the price.

Top-up credits add to the current cycle's agent credits and expire when the cycle ends, like plan credits. Top-ups aren't refundable.

When the workspace has no plan

A workspace without an active plan has no agent credits. The notice above the Message box says "The Website Agent needs an active plan. Choose a plan to start." The owner sees Choose a plan. A member sees "The Website Agent needs an active plan, which the workspace owner chooses."

When the agent is unavailable

If we switch the agent off, or our AI account reaches its spending limit, the notice says "The Website Agent is unavailable right now. Try again later, and if it stays unavailable, contact support at" and the support address. Nothing you do lifts it. Try again later.
